KronoLife Co., Ltd. won 1st Runner-up in the Innovation Challenge of Cosmeceutical and Herbal Innovation with Business Link 2024 (CIB2024), Thailand's 2024 programme that links cosmetic, extract and herbal product innovations to business in domestic and overseas markets. The programme is organised by the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), the Thailand Center of Excellence for Life Sciences (TCELS) and the Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR). The Final Pitching took place on 24 July 2024 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok.

Dr. Tawin Iempridee, Co-Founder and CEO–CTO of KronoLife, pitched "Longevity Active Ingredients and Cosmeceuticals Targeting Senescent Zombie Cells and Aging Hallmarks". The award made KronoLife one of three companies selected to present at Cosmetic 360 in Paris, France.

What KronoLife presented

KronoLife entered two cosmeceutical innovations with actives that target "zombie cells" (senescent cells) and other hallmarks of aging:

  • ZenoLase Evanesce Serum, built on ZenoLase, a senolytic active that targets senescent cells in skin.
  • ReverZase Regenerate Serum, built on ReverZase, a senomorphic active that changes how senescent cells behave so they send fewer inflammatory signals.

Both products had already won international recognition: Top 3 Finalists at Cosmetic Victories 2023 (Cosmetic Valley/ESSEC, Paris) and a Bronze Medal at the 49th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, Switzerland.

Why senescent cells matter for skincare

Senescent cells stop dividing but do not die, and release inflammatory factors into the tissue around them. Skin where these cells accumulate makes less collagen and recovers more slowly. Targeting senescent cells is an anti-aging approach that works at the level of the cell, not only on the skin surface. The technology page explains the science.

Today's products

The latest version of ZenoLase Evanesce Serum is ZenoLase Evanesce Prime Serum. All KronoLife skincare products are on the products page.
