KronoLife Co., Ltd., a longevity deep-tech startup affiliated with Thailand's National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), has received a proof-of-concept (POC) grant from the Technology and Innovation-Based Enterprise Development Fund, known as TED Fund, at TED Fund Grant Day 2024, held under the theme "Empowering Growth". Dr. Tawin Iempridee, Co-Founder and CEO–CTO of KronoLife, announced the grant on 15 November 2024.
What the TED Fund grant will study
The funded project studies two new KronoLife longevity supplement formulas, ZenoBlazt+ and ZenoGenez+, and their anti-aging effects in middle-aged and older adults.
Both formulas contain actives that KronoLife developed to deal with "zombie cells", the senescent cells that stop dividing but do not die, and build up with age. Cellular senescence is one of the twelve hallmarks of aging. Senescent cells accelerate aging, including visible skin aging, and drive other hallmarks of aging in turn.
ZenoBlazt and ZenoGenez
KronoLife builds its supplements on one idea: start from a mechanism of aging, then design the formula.
- ZenoBlazt is built on the active DionySenz, a senolytic supplement that targets senescent cells.
- ZenoGenez is built on the KronoZase complex, a geroprotector supplement for long-term health.
ZenoBlazt+ and ZenoGenez+ are the new formulas that build on these two products. The current products are described on the products page.
About the TED Fund
TED Fund supports technology and innovation entrepreneurs in Thailand. A proof-of-concept grant helps a startup test whether a technology developed in the laboratory works as designed before it moves to the next stage.
For KronoLife, studies in people are the step after results in cells and in ex vivo human skin, which the company uses as the first layer of evidence for every active. The technology page explains this ladder of evidence.
In the announcement, Dr. Tawin thanked TED Fund for supporting KronoLife.
