"ZenoLase complex & AGE-Reversal Senolytic Bright Serum", an entry from Dr. Tawin Iempridee's research team, was one of the 10 highest-scoring entries awarded TechBiz Starter Funds 2022 at the "Pitching & Meet Investors" event of TechBiz Starter, the new-entrepreneur programme of Thailand's National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA). The results were announced on 14 November 2022.
About TechBiz Starter
TechBiz Starter is run by NSTDA's Business Incubation Center (BIC) and Technology Management Center (TMC) to support early-stage researchers and entrepreneurs who build businesses on advanced technology. 2022 was the programme's third year. The ten highest-scoring entries received TechBiz Starter Funds to develop their businesses.
What the team presented
The team presented ZenoLase complex, a natural senolytic active that targets senescent cells, and a serum built on it. The event coverage reported that the active was non-irritating and non-sensitising, and that it had been compared with eight actives from leading overseas companies.
From this stage to KronoLife
The following year, ZenoLase became a finalist at Cosmetic Victories 2023 in Paris, and Dr. Tawin co-founded KronoLife in June 2023. ZenoLase is now the key active of ZenoLase Evanesce Prime Serum.
